My Eton Days Subscriptions.
These terms and conditions relate to our My Eton Day’s Subscription Service that we provide for students and patents at Eton College and form part of our General Terms & Conditions that can be read here. The subscription is for one photographic shoot her academic term with the aim of building a collection of photographs that tell the story of your son’s time at Eton College.

During your subscription and at the end of the subscription you will have a number of photographic prints, Digital files, Photo box, Photo collages and other products available for you for purchase. Your subscription includes the photo shoots themselves, all selection and postproduction of the photographs, their publication online within a private and secure personal web space, as well as two 5 x 7 photographic prints after every photo shoot.

Subscription Length & Renewals
The length of each subscription lasts for 12 months starting at the beginning of the academic year.

The Subscription is for 1 Photoshoot per academic term. If your subscription starts in the in the middle of the academic year, your subscription fee will be calculated pro rata according to the number of photo shoots we are able to fit in for you.

You will be sent a notice to renew your subscription during the last month of your current subscription.


Price & Availability
The price of a subscription at the current time of writing is £399 for the academic year 2020/21. Your subscription includes the 3 photo shoots themselves, all selection and post-production of the photographs, their publication online within a private and secure personal web space, as well as two 5 x 7 photographic prints after every photo shoot. Any further photographic prints, Photo books, or other products are available for purchase during or after the subscription period.

We reserve the right to change the price of the subscriptions each year, to limit the number of places available, or cancel the subscription service entirely on the condition of one full academic terms notice.

Photoshoots
Photo shoots cannot be rolled over to the next academic term and therefore if a photo shoot is not arranged within the appropriate term then it will be lost.

All photo shoots will start at the Burning Bush, so please make your way there for the start time of the shoot.

Bookings can be made by phone, by email, or preferably through our online booking system, however bookings will only be valid once you have received written confirmation that we have received your booking and that it is confirmed.

Once you have a photo shoot booked, you may cancel or change as long as we are given 24 hours notice which can be done by e mail, phone.

You have a total of 3 photo shoots available to you each academic year - 1 for each half.

We will remind you to arrange a date and will suggest the theme for each of the three termly photo shoots at the beginning of each half. The more varied the theme of each photo shoot, the more interesting your final book will be so please be creative with your ideas.

We will make every effort to contact you to arrange the pupil concerned to remind you to book the photo shoots, but ultimately it is your responsibility to ensure that the photo shoots are booked promptly each term. If a photo shoot is missed in any term it cannot be rolled over to the next term and will therefore be forfeited.

Force Majeure (including Pandemics and other Uncontrollable Major Events)
Although we will make every effort to fulfil our responsibilities come-what-may, if in the event of a major uncontrollable event, we maintain the right to cancel this contract.


Refunds due to Lockdowns or Quarantine
If a National or Local lockdown or quarantine of either the client or Photographer, covers a complete school term, then that portion of the subscription (ie 1/3 for 1 academic term) will be refunded with cash or a voucher to the Pro-rated value of that term.
If the lockdown or quarantine of either the client or Photographer falls part way through an academic term, a refund or voucher will ONLY be issued IF you or your son has already made a confirmed booking, and where this booking has had to be cancelled due to the lockdown. It is therefore in your interest to ensure that you book your photoshoot as early as possible in the academic term. If the booking then has to be cancelled, then we will issue you a refund or a Voucher for the value of that terms shoot. If no booking has been made, then no refund or voucher will be issued. All photoshoots need to be made at least 1 week before the appointment. The cut off date for making appointments will therefore be the end of the penultimate week of the academic term.

Free Prints
Your subscription includes 2 free 5x7 Photographic prints. These free prints only be available for a period of 14 days following the notification of the online publication of a photo shoot. Please ensure to use the promotional code sent in your notification email. The Free prints MUST be ordered online and by yourselves (we will not be able to process orders for free prints by phone or my e mail). We will not be able to refund you any money that had already be paid if you omit to use your promotional code at the time of checking-out and wish to use it retrospectively.

Renewals
If you do not wish to continue your subscription and the beginning of any academic year, please notify us in writing to avoid receiving unnecessary invoices.

Cancellation
Both Rhubarb & Custard and you, the client, have the option to cancel this contract during their subscription and must provide at least one full Academic term’s notice. An “academic term” in these terms and conditions, includes the holiday period following the Academic term. Therefore if you cancel in the middle of an academic term, your subscription would still be active until the end of the following academic term. If you wish to cancel you would need to do so in writing including by email.

Changes to legal notices
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and you should look through them as often as possible.
